Kolb's model of reflective practice is based on his idea of experiential learning. It can be applied in the classroom to facilitate student deeper learning. This model is also an important part of a structured practice of critical reflection for teachers and other professionals. This model and theory states that students learn and grow from experience, which is a basic premise of reflective practice.
